China and Cambodia hold a video conference between their youth delegations;

Cambodia: On May 24, a meeting between Cambodia and China youth delegations was successfully held by the National People's Congress and the National Assembly of Cambodia through a video conference and chaired by Ms. Wang Hongyan, member of the Standing Committee at the National People's Congress and chairman of the National Youth Federation of China and Mr. Hun Many, Member of the National Assembly of Cambodia and President of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia. 

The two sides exchanged in-depth views on maintaining existing relationships between the countries, strengthening youth relations, cooperating on preventing a further spread of the Covid-19 virus. 

They also agreed on promoting the building of common destiny between China and Cambodia.

The meeting was a critical event to our mutual engagement said Li Zhanshu, chairman of the National People's Congress (NPC), after concluding the video conference with Samdech Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly of Cambodia in January 2021.
